[ARCHIVED] Crown Hills Neighborhood Water Use

Yellow Fire Hydrant

Due to a hydrant being hit and knocked off in the Crown Hills neighborhood in Alpine, residents may have seen a fluctuation in water pressure. This includes residents on Larkspur Drive, Columbine Road, Begonia Way, Lobelia Road and Star Thistle Lane. The broken hydrant has been shut off. Due to the increased flow in the pipelines, you may have experienced cloudy water at your home. Padre Dam has crews in the area flushing the pipelines and taking water samples to ensure the water is safe. If you experience cloudy water we recommend you flush your service line by running water fixtures in your home. This can be done by running your faucets for approximately 5 minutes. If you have any questions, please call us at 619-448-3111. Thank you.
