[ARCHIVED] SUNDAY UPDATE: Water Main Break in Blossom Valley - Boil Water Notice

Main Break repairs

CANCELLATION OF BOIL WATER NOTICE - May 1. 2022

Repairs have been completed and the Boil Water Advisory has been lifted for most areas that were impacted by the water main break on Oak Creek Rd. but remains in effect for areas close to the main break. Customers in the impacted areas were sent an automated phone call and/or an email with information about the Boil Water Notice cancellation.  See below for more details.

On April 27, 2022, customers were notified of the need to boil/disinfect all tap water used for drinking and cooking purposes.

Padre Dam Municipal Water District in conjunction with the State Water Resources Control Board, and the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health, have determined that, through abatement of the health hazard and comprehensive testing of the water, your water is safe to drink. It is no longer necessary to boil your tap water or for you to consume bottled water.
