[ARCHIVED] Emergency Water Main Break on Cordial Rd

This is an important Boil water notice from Padre Dam Municipal Water District.

Due to an emergency water main break on Cordial Road residents and businesses within the following impacted streets: Hawick Terrace, Hawick Drive, Marbrook Way, Braeswood Terrace, Stoneybrook Lane, East County Drive, Drown Croft Way, Heath Cliff Court, Piping Rock Lane, Briar Glen Court, Caminito Canada, and Los Coches Road are out of water as of Thursday, September 12 at 8:30pm. We anticipate water will be able to be turned back on around 3am on Friday, September 13.

When water comes back on all impacted residents and businesses are advised to use boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes as a safety precaution.  Failure to follow this advisory could result in stomach or intestinal illness.

DO NOT DRINK THE WATER WITHOUT BOILING IT FIRST. Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one (1) minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.

We will inform you when tests show that water is safe to drink and you no longer need to boil your water. We anticipate resolving the problem within 24-72 hours.
