Recently, Companies have been advertising on social media and using door hangers, falsely implying that water provided by local water utilities is unsafe. These messages are designed to persuade consumers into spending money on unnecessary products.
Water Distributed by Padre Dam is treated using multi-step processes to ensure water quality and safety of our drinking water supply which comes from the San Diego County Water Authority. Additionally, Padre Dam monitors and tests the water in our system daily to ensure that it meets or exceeds all state and federal drinking water standards.
