Workforce
Partnership
In August, 1996, 12 Padre Dam employees and management
representatives journeyed into the California desert with a mutual
desire to improve organizational effectiveness and morale. In the
117 degree heat, they forged the beginning of the Workforce Partnership,
a 1997 agreement establishing labor, management and our
Board of Directors as equal partners in problem solving, decision
making, strategic planning, employee empowerment and development, and
organizational communications. Our continuing goal is to develop a
customer-focused and employee driven organization built on our District
Values -- trust, integrity, competence, accountability and service.
Our
Mission Statement
The mission of Padre Dam is to provide quality water,
recycled water, park and recreational facilities and wastewater
management services for our customers. We accomplish this mission in the
most cost-effective manner possible, earning customer and community
respect.
Our
Vision Statement
We set the standard for delivering exceptional value and
service in providing important life necessities for our customers and
community.
