Salt and Nutrient Management Plan Public Meetings
Padre Dam Municipal Water District is preparing a Salt and Nutrient Management Plan for the Santee Basin. The Plan will allow the District to identify the salt and nutrient profile in the Basin and potential opportunities to improve water quality. The District is scheduled to finalize the Plan by Summer 2013.
If you would like to learn more, the District is hosting two public workshops for discussion of the Plan. The workshops will be held on the following dates:

The objectives of the Plan are to:
- Ensure a sustainable water supply, in a cost effective manner, utilizing the knowledge of existing partners and stakeholders;
- Develop a comprehensive monitoring strategy; and
- Identify and evaluate potential projects and opportunities to improve water quality in the Basin.
