Starting Water / Sewer Service

If you would like to start service with Padre Dam, please complete our online New Service Request Form or call our office 619-258-4600 between the hours of 9 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday; 8 am to 12 pm Friday. Please submit your request at least 24 business hours in advance of the date you wish service to begin. If you choose to start service by completing a New Service Request Form, a Padre Dam representative will call you within 24 business hours to collect your social security number. 

Please note, we cannot accommodate same-day, holiday or weekend service requests.

We will need basic credit information in order to open a water/sewer account. Please have the following information available when you call:

  • Address
  • Date service is to begin
  • Email address
  • Mailing address
  • Name
  • Social Security Number
  • Telephone number (work and home or cell)

Currently, we bill our accounts on a monthly basis. Your first bill will likely be prorated from the opening date until the next billing date, so your first bill may be smaller than normal. Your first bill will also include a $25 to $28 new account fee. Find out more about how to read your bill here.

Renters

If you are renting, the owner of the property must complete and return an Owner Acknowledgement Form prior to beginning water service. This form can be emailed to us.
